To further their mission to bring quality healthcare to rural locations, °µÍø½ûµØ was engaged to construction the new Marshfield Medical Center in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. The new state-of-the-art medical facility provides quality healthcare to Rusk County and the surrounding area, giving patients hometown, seamless care backed by the expertise of Marshfield Clinic Health System.

The ground-up, full-service 98,700 SF complex delivers advanced, comprehensive care to patients how, when, and where they need it. The new facility includes an 11-bed hospital, 37 clinic exam rooms, 24/7 Emergency Department with a separate entrance, two operating rooms, an infusion suite with seven private rooms, MRI/CT/Radiology imaging suite, helipad, and retail pharmacy and optical.

Project Highlights

  • 45,000 self-perform work-hours were utilized for concrete, structural steel erection, precast erection, rough carpentry, finishes and specialties trade packages.
  • BIM modeling assisted trade coordination and sequencing, enabling a 90% reduction of issues within the model, instead of in the field.
  • The team used OpenSpace to capture project images and progression daily, so the team could confirm completion and accuracy of work scheduled.
